Gallery82 has expanded and opened “Blank82” for emerging artists. Blank82 & Gallery82 present Vincent McIndoe's ‘Rhizome’ as the inaugural exhibition. “Rhizome,” a term referring to a “root stem,” expresses decentralized practices that transcend definitions or authority. Vincent McIndoe's instinctive practice freely traverses familiar distinctions and artificial boundaries—illustration, commercial art, fine art—driven by creative desire.

The exhibition opening party begins at 4 PM on Saturday, September 20th. We invite you to the opening of Blank82 & Gallery82's inaugural exhibition.

GALLERY82는 “BLANK82”를 확장하여 오픈합니다. BLANK82 & GALLERY82, 첫 전시로 빈센트 맥킨도 “리좀”을 펼칩니다. 리좀은 ‘뿌리줄기’ 일컫는 용어로 규정 또는 권위를 벗어난 탈중심의 실천을 표현합니다. 일러스트레이션, 커머셜 아트, 파인 아트 등 익숙한 구분과 인위적 경계를 창작 욕망으로 마음껏 옮겨 가는 빈센트 맥킨도의 본능적 실천을 엿볼 수 있습니다.
